The Federal Government is open again, but for how long? People are receiving SNAP benefits, but there are severe cuts. A disabled cousin with two special needs children shared with me that her benefits were cut from $310 a month down to $75.
Please support your local food banks however you can. Time and talent is invaluable! Food banks can take every dollar we donate and buy at least $1.50 worth of groceries. Lastly, if you have food items you can donate now is the time.
